We have plenty of space for kids to be just that kids! Run and play all over our 72 acres (with parental oversight).

Some of the free activities your kids can enjoy at our park:

Biking - We have 72 acres of land that kids are free to explore and enjoy. From meadows, gravel roads, forests, and open fields.

Sports - Enjoy the sunshine at the volleyball court at Smith River RV Park, but we have plenty of open meadows to play catch, baseball, kickball, frisbee, cornhole, and horseshoes.

Swimming - What better way to relax and cool down in the spring and summer and enjoy the beautiful Smith River here in VA. Enjoy swimming and exploring the vast ecosystem that surrounds our beautiful park.

Fishing - Grab a fishing pole and fish every day in the park. Kids can get discounted Virginia Fishing Licenses and enjoy the state-maintained trout stream.

Exploring - Learning is a great way to enjoy the park and all the beautiful parts of nature around us. We have printable scavenger hunts for kids to learn about nature. Go exploring and find many beautiful natural treasures on the property. If you are lucky you might see the otters in the river.

Playground - We have a great playground your family can enjoy and have fun on. We are constantly adding new items to the experience for our campers and we are planning on a climbing wall and rope swing in the meadow to play on.
